My first bridal portrait session!

What is a bridal portrait session?? Well, it's a Texas tradition, and lucky for me, Nicole is fromTexas! Nicole got her hair and make-up done, and put on her dress (which is fabulous!) and we did a fun, artsy, no-rush photo shoot. I was in heaven because I had as much time as I wanted with the bride. Nicole was absolutely stunning as always and Christie from Blush Bridal came along to help out, and the three of us had so much fun running around the Rose Garden. Thanks ladies, see you in a few weeks.

Becky and Chad, The Great Hall, Sunriver, OR

Wow, what a weekend. We shot Becky and Chad's wedding on Friday in Sunriver, and then Kelsey and Steve's in the Gorge on Saturday. The majestic Great Hall was a beautiful setting for this classy wedding. Becky and Chad were all smiles, understandably. Congratulations to the newlyweds! and thank you for having us out to the Sunriver Resort!

Becky is just too lovely.

Sleeping beauties, after a long night of celebration.

Kelsey and Steve, Bridal Veil Lakes

In true Oregon fashion, it rained. And it was beautiful. With colorful
umbrellas and rain droplets everywhere, Bridal Veil Lakes in the Gorge was just stunning. Kelsey and Steve had a very unique wedding, with kilts, bagpipes, a great blue dress, and a laid back attitude, and we had a great time documenting it. Hybrid Moon (www.hybridmoon.com) did the video, and were fantastic as always.

Polly's cakes provided a beautiful cake. (www.pollyscakes.com)

I brought a backdrop to try something different,
and want to thank Kelsey and Steve for tolerating
me in the rain.

Congratulations Kelsey and Steve, and thank you
for letting me be a part of your day!

Shauna and Dave

Shauna and Dave met me at Pier Park on Tuesday
and it was a beautiful evening with a beautiful couple.
Thanks guys!

Congratulations Dave and Shauna, they
will be exchanging vows in August, so check

Heidi and Nate

Heidi and Nate just did their engagement pictures at Cathedral Park,
under the St. Johns bridge. They were full of laughter, which always
makes my 'job' a joy!
Congratulations Heidi and Nate, see you June 17th!

Erika and Ehren's Engagement Shoot

I spent Saturday evening at Kelly Point Park
with Erika, Ehren, Charlie, and Giddy. We had
a great time with the shoot, and the dogs provided
constant entertainment.
Thanks guys, looking forward to Edgefield in July!

No time for kisses, Giddy wants to play!

Charlie is so handsome!

The 44th Annual St. Johns Parade!

On Saturday, my fiance Brad, our dog Roxy, and I attended
the 44th Annual St. Johns Parade. The sun was hot, the excitement
was high, and the parade did not disappoint! We loved the local pride
and the great floats (even if it was as simple as a guy with a lawn edger!)
Yay! No-Po! We love our neighborhood. :)

Two cuties marching for Patty's Home Plate Cafe.

This was Roxy's first parade and
she loved it, except for the horses
and the guy in the mouse suit!

The St. Johns Community Garden was well represented.

the Beaterville Cafe floats were a treat!

A Day at the Oregon Zoo

I recently spent a day at the Oregon Zoo and
had a blast checking out all of the animals
and soaking up the sunshine!

My personal favorite was by far the Sea Lions.
I could watch them all day....

mischievous monkeys!

this wasn't much of a big, bad wolf! what a sweet face.
