Heidi and Nate

Heidi and Nate just did their engagement pictures at Cathedral Park,
under the St. Johns bridge. They were full of laughter, which always
makes my 'job' a joy!
Congratulations Heidi and Nate, see you June 17th!

Erika and Ehren's Engagement Shoot

I spent Saturday evening at Kelly Point Park
with Erika, Ehren, Charlie, and Giddy. We had
a great time with the shoot, and the dogs provided
constant entertainment.
Thanks guys, looking forward to Edgefield in July!

No time for kisses, Giddy wants to play!

Charlie is so handsome!

The 44th Annual St. Johns Parade!

On Saturday, my fiance Brad, our dog Roxy, and I attended
the 44th Annual St. Johns Parade. The sun was hot, the excitement
was high, and the parade did not disappoint! We loved the local pride
and the great floats (even if it was as simple as a guy with a lawn edger!)
Yay! No-Po! We love our neighborhood. :)

Two cuties marching for Patty's Home Plate Cafe.

This was Roxy's first parade and
she loved it, except for the horses
and the guy in the mouse suit!

The St. Johns Community Garden was well represented.

A Day at the Oregon Zoo

I recently spent a day at the Oregon Zoo and
had a blast checking out all of the animals
and soaking up the sunshine!

My personal favorite was by far the Sea Lions.
I could watch them all day....

Kelsey and Steve

I recently did my first portrait shoot at a cemetery,
and it was so fun. The weather was beautiful, the trees
were in bloom, and the cemetery provided lots of great
backdrops. Kelsey and Steve are getting married
in a couple of weeks at Bridal Veil Lakes in the Gorge,
and the wedding is going to be very cool and unique. Watch
for their pictures after the 28th!

Fun with a lensbaby (www.lensbaby.com)

what a beautiful spring evening.

Thanks guys! See you in a couple weeks.

Meet the Dingo.

This is our 'dingo' Roxy. She is not a huge fan of being photographed,
but I got my new camera (the Canon 5D) and just had to fire a couple
test shots. I am SO impressed with the camera and can't wait to hit a
wedding with it.

This is cropped from the image above. The sharpness is AMAZING! :)

Nicole and Nat's engagement session.

Nicole and Nat and I had a blast doing their engagement
session. We ran all over the place, even out to the Gorge and
the rain held off for us despite the forecast. Thanks for
playing guys, you were a joy to photograph!

It was a beautiful day in the Gorge.

I love all the laughs!

Thanks for the fun session guys! I can't wait for the big day! (July 7th)

I recently got the opportunity to go to
Austin, Texas to shoot Susan and Mike's wedding.
I had a great time, as did all the guests and family
