Meet the beautiful DeJong family. We had planned to do a family session in the park, but the rain just won't stop! So we used their house, which has a lot of great natural light and furniture. I love the DeJong Family sign, and all the fun shots of the three of them laughing. Thanks guys!

Heather and Shawn, Vermont

Heather is one of my dearest friends. We have been like sisters since we met in college, so it was so exciting when she met 'the one'--Shawn. I was so honored to photograph and stand up for this beautiful couple. It is always interesting to shoot a wedding in a bridesmaid dress, but I have my trusty assistant (and fiance) Brad, and Heather and Shawn are not difficult to photograph! They are so in love, and so happy and fun. We spent nearly a week with their families, and didn't want to leave! Heather and Shawn live in Cape Cod now, so we send our love and wishes for all the happiness in the world across the States to them!

Kristen and Julien in Vermont

Brad and I recently traveled to Vermont, where we photographed a wedding (coming soon!) and Kristen and Julien's engagement pictures. The fall colors were just breathtaking, and so much fun to work with, not to mention this adorable couple. Kristen and Julien are getting married next September in the South of France and we are so excited and honored to be photographing their big day. Thanks so much guys, see you next summer!

on a personal note....

Well, it's been a long time since I've posted anything from my personal life, as it was a busy summer with weddings and portraits. But I finally got a chance to look at the pictures from our awesome time with Brad's daughter Madison this summer. The following are a few favorites from a trip to the beach with Madison, her cousin Sterling, Brad, our dingo Roxy, and I.

Ann and David had a wonderful wedding at Edgefield on the 7th of October. Everything was so unique, from the dress (designed by Ann), to the cake and decorations, to the awesome band out of Texas. We thoroughly enjoyed this beautiful fall day at Edgefield, thanks so much Ann and David. Best wishes!
