Shannon and Mark...

didn't want posed portraits for their engagement session. I said 'no problem!' Well, it turns out that it was more of a challenge than I thought, because they didn't have an activity (a wedding, for example) to distract them. So, with a little gentle direction here and there, we got the most photojournalistic engagement photos I could. These guys are so fun and cute, and Seattle was a too-perfect backdrop--I didn't want to stop clicking the shutter! I can't wait for their wedding in March.

Sarah and Ben..

were married at the Acadian Ballroom on Alberta St. We headed to nearby Peninsula Park for a photo session where we had fun with the beautiful light. After the sweet ceremony officiated
by a family friend and some good eats, the party was on. And what a great party! The dance floor was full and very entertaining all night. Thanks so much Sarah and Ben!

Brittany and Kevin...

had a gorgeous wedding, with the ceremony at St. Patricks and the reception at the Art Museum. Brittany looked stunning in her gown, and both she and Kevin were beaming all day. We were so happy to see two of our other couples--Brianna and Kellen, who were married in July, and Carrie and Oscar who are getting married this Sunday. Thanks so much, and congratulations to the new Mr. and Mrs.!

Lorena...

did her senior portraits at the Grotto, a place that is special to her and her family. I had never been to the Grotto before, and I was in awe at the beauty and peace of the place. Lorena's Mom and sister were great helpers as we cruised around to all the beautiful spots. Thanks so much Lorena, for being a great model and for being so patient with me about seeing your photos.

Carrie and Oscar..

are getting married next Sunday at Pumpkin Ridge Golf Course. We did their engagement photos at Pittock Mansion and I can't wait to photograph those contagious smiles again! See you SOON Carrie and Oscar!
