Karyelle and Erik

Wow. The light on Superbowl Sunday was to die for. Not to mention this adorable couple. Karyelle and Erik came in to town for their engagement session, where we hit both Peir and Cathedral Parks in St. Johns. Karyelle was a little shy in front of the camera at first and kept trying to hide behind Erik, but she soon got over that. These two will be tying the knot in July. Congratulations!

Beth and Aaron...

are engaged! Aaron is one of my best friend's cousins, and he and Beth moved out to Portland recently. I was told that they would probably be getting engaged soon, and sure enough, the wedding is this summer in Plentywood, Montana. Congratulations guys, and best wishes!

Emma and Eric

Emma and Eric tied the knot just over a month ago in Emma's hometown, Libby, Montana. The drive there was so beautiful, and we saw all kinds of wildlife. It was pretty chilly out but I managed to get them downtown and down to the river. They are such a striking couple, I would have loved to photograph them all day. The ceremony was wonderful, the food was great, and the party was a blast. Jason (my youngest brother) was especially enthusiastic on the dance floor and seemed to be a hit amongst the local ladies! Congratulations Eric and Emma, I love you guys!

Sarah, Ben, and Porter

Sarah and Ben did their engagement session at Cathedral Park under the St. Johns Bridge, and brought their sweet and funny dog Porter. The light was really golden and beautiful, a nice contrast to the bright blue sky. It didn't feel like winter at all! Thanks Sarah and Ben!

Cheryl and Chris

Cheryl and Chris met Brad and I at Government Camp for their engagement session. It was windy there, but nothing compared to when we got up to Timberline lodge! So we headed back down the mountain a ways, and found a snowpark sheltered from the wind, with some magical light. I'm looking forward to the wedding in a few short weeks!
