I just had to share this photo today. I takes me right back to my childhood, growing up in the country with three brothers.

'tis the season...

for family portraits! I have some dear friends that live in Shelby, Montana, so I planned a portrait weekend there. I got to photograph ten beautiful families. It was like a photography marathon, and I loved it. Thank you to all of the sweet families for letting me document your love for eachother. Happy Holidays!

Kristina and Ben...

traveled a great distance to exchange vows and celebrate with family and friends at the Coeur d’Alene Resort. Kristina is originally from Idaho but met the love of her life while traveling and now lives in Ben's home land of Australia. I loved the details--the vibrant fall colors, the southern cross created as a backdrop for the vows, the custom cake topper, the surprise fireworks show, and best of all the huge amount of love between Kristina and Ben. It was an honor to be a part of everything, thanks so much for making us feel like family. Best wishes, and hopefully we'll meet up in Australia someday!

Jason and Jackie

Congratulations to Jason and Jackie! Jason is my baby brother, and the last of the four siblings to tie the knot, and he found the perfect match in Jackie. Montana's weather is never predictable and proved it on October 11th with a serious blizzard! The ceremony and reception were held at the historic and charming Springhill Pavilion. Despite the storm, there were guests from all over the country and the atmosphere was warm and joyous. The band, ten foot tall and eighty proof, was fantastic and kept people moving late into the night. I love you guys, and am so happy for you both!
